The effort of putting a braid in Beth's hair is the result of two things. 1- I am behind on the wash and out of clean clothes; and 2- I really need to go shopping for more summer clothes for the kids and this has made it necessary to put Beth in some of Eric's old clothes, which makes her look like a little boy with long hair. Therefore!!!!, I had to do something. So this is what I did. . . 
Oh how I love having a little girl!

i'm amazed! i didn't even try to thik boutattempting such a thing on afton til she was 2, and had a lot more hair (she didn't wiggle so much if the grip i hd o her hair hurt :). cool!
that's a very nice braid, i don't think i can even braid that good on my own hair, how did she stay so still? i'm quite impressed! what a cutie!
I bribed her with a bottle of water. That’s a treat for her because she’s never had one before.
You can't mistake Beth for being a little girl--even if you dress her up in one of Eric's shirts. You'll have to braid her hair more often--what a cutie!

Okay, I LOVE your blog. And I can't believe how beautiful Beth's hair is! I don't know how you did that; I certainly can't do anything like that with my girls' hair. So cute!
